Mirgul Kyrgyzstan Country Manager Mirgul is a conscientious and active mover in her home country of Kyrgyzstan. She is continually searching for solutions to the challenges facing Kyrgyz society, and often dedicates her time to community service. She is an alumni of the US-based Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX), and has both studied and worked in the US where, among other experiences, she spent a year living on a family-run Alpaca farm in rural Wisconsin. She is a recipient of the GYSD and FLEX Alumni Grant programs. Recently, she was awarded an opportunity through the Exchanges to Internship Program to work for at the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic. And, as one of Kyrgyzstan's brightest and hardest working young leaders, she always seems to have a myriad of well-deserved awards and opportunities coming her way. Mirgul is passionate about her on-the-ground role with the GlobeIn team because of her direct impact on the lives of local artisans. She believes GlobeIn empowers artisans by providing them with an amazing opportunity to gain access to a world market whichhas been previously inaccessible. She is also excited that, through GlobeIn, the world will receive a welcoming introduction to Kyrgyzstan through talented artisans and their unique Kyrgyz crafts.
