This simple felt bag is hand-made with the techniques used to make Shyrdak felt rugs in Kyrgyzstan. The Altyn Kol Cooperative works in the traditional style using methods that have been passed down from generation to generation.  The item features rectangular design with two wide short handles. The bag is decorated with an abstract ornament and fastens with the press button. Inside there is only one big compartment with no pockets. Made from natural felt the bag is very original, handy and durable.

Felt is made from local Kyrgyz wool through repeated hand-pressing. Together with Yurts, mountains and nomadic traditions, Felt is an iconographic material that makes up the literal fabric of this stunning country.
