In the beginning of March Julie Terekhova, our country manager in Russia, presented GlobeIn at the annual weaving festival called “Evdokia Readings” in the Northern Russian village of Shenkursk. At the festival she met local weavers, painters, potters and knitters - some of these masters and their works are now on GlobeIn!

The ancient town of Shenkursk nestled on the bank of the river Vaga isn’t reachable but by boat in summer or by ice road in winter. With a little over 5 thousand residents the town carries traditions of hand-weaving and wood working throughout years.
