Margarita Figueroa Gonzalez is from the town of San Pedro Ixcatlan in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. She has been dedicated to traditional Mazateca embroidery for the last 6 years. Margarita works on her embroidery part time, doing other work around the house. When she has large orders she sometimes hires other local women to help her when they do not have any work. Margarita is a Vision Fund borrower and is very thankful for their loans which allow her to purchase her materials.
