Nayeli Clara Figueroa is the daughter of Margarita Figueroa Gonzalez  and lives in the town of San Pedro Ixcatlan located in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. She has been dedicated to traditional Mazateca embroidery for the last 6 years, helping out her mother. Nayeli is a school teacher in the mornings and therefore only works on her embroidery part time. In addition to making traditional table runners and blouses, Nayeli has begun trying other designs such as wallets and change purses.
