Vladimir Ermakov

Vladimir Ermakov Chief Executive Officer

Vladimir Ermakov has been working on cutting edge technologies for over a decade.  He started his career working on a Netscape rendering engine and he most recently built the world's first con- sumer robot capable of mapping the environment using laser distance sensor while at Neato Robot- ics. 

Vladimir’s true passion is in solving socially signifi- cant problems through technology innovation.  He focused his master’s research on finding sea turtle nests using ground-penetrating radars and detect- ing forest fires using satellite images. Vladimir sees GlobeIn as a way to use online marketplaces and social technologies to build a bridge between consumers and talented local artisans around the world.

Vladimir holds an M.S. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.

Anastasia Miron Director of International Business Development

Anastasia Miron is a passionate social entrepre- neur and innovator.  She has traveled the world creating GlobeIn's network of regional managers.  On her journeys, Anastasia has visited the most remote areas of South America, Central Asia and Russia to meet the artisans, document their stories, and teach them how to sell their goods on the GlobeIn network.

Anastasia is driven to challenge the status quo by bringing IT literacy and capabilities to the under- privileged and under-connected.  She is also closely involved with The Hub Network, an intern- ational network and co-working space for social innovators.

Anastasia holds a B.S. in International Economics and an M.B.A. in International Commerce from the University of Padua, Italy.

David is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and the
co-founder and CEO of AnchorFree, the creator of the popular Hotspot Shield application that has been downloaded by over 100 million users delivering freedom, personal privacy, and secure access to the world’s information for an addressable market of 5 billion Internet users. 

David was recently named by Forbes among the Most Promising CEO’s Under 35, and was featured by Fortune and by Inc magazine among the top founders under 30 years old  Inc “30 Under 30.”  He was responsible for the second largest technology venture financing of 2012, raising $52M for Anchor- Free. 

David is passionate about GlobeIn’s mission to connect billions of people to the global economy, disrupting poverty, and helping consumers buy unique handmade goods from artisans in develop- ing countries.
