About Us
How It All Began
In 2011, Vladimir Ermakov and his partner Anastasia Miron began GlobeIn from the principles of micro-lending. By giving artisans a way to connect with the billion dollar global marketplace using technology, GlobeIn helps artisans improve their quality of life, pass down traditional techniques of handicrafts to a new generation of artisans, and bring people the delight of culture and travel in the comfort of their homes.
GlobeIn always works to build long-term partnerships with artisans to create the most impact on these communities. By creating direct partnerships, GlobeIn can provide sustainable business and improvement to these artisans and their communities.
GlobeIn's focus is on providing quality products, but it’s important to remember the bigger picture that the company is working to achieve. Today, with thousands of members, the GlobeIn community is far reaching. Their impact will continue to work towards sustainable income and partnerships with all artisans across the world.
Our mission
GlobeIn is a purpose-driven company growing in parallel with entrepreneurial artisan partners from around the world with the aim of enrich- ing individuals and their communities. We are devoted to transparent business practices, equitable and sustainable partnerships, and respect for cultural continuity. We strive to connect conscious consum- ers with delightful products and the talented artisans who make them, thereby strengthening the bonds of our global community.
We started GlobeIn with the vision that there are millions of people working really hard around the world producing great products that are both beautiful and practical.
